In Memory of MSG Richard L. Ferguson
Master Sergeant Richard L. Ferguson, 45, of Conway, New Hampshire, died March 30, in Samarra, Iraq, when the military vehicle he was riding in rolled over. MSG Ferguson was assigned to the Army's 10th Special Forces Group, Fort Carson, Colorado.
His military career started when he left high school to join the Connecticut Army National Guard. His first unit was the 861st Engineer Battalion in East Greenwich. He joined Special Forces where he served for the past 28 years.
MSG Ferguson lived in Colorado where he was stationed.
He leaves behind a wife and three sons and a daughter.
