In Memory of SFC Lance S. Cornett 

SFC Lance S. Cornett, age 33, of London, Kentucky, died in the vicinity of Ar Ramadi, Iraq, on February 3rd, 2006, of injuries sustained earlier that day while engaging enemy forces.

SFC Cornett was assigned to the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).

Lance Cornett was born in San Diego, California and graduated from Laurel County High School in London in south-central Kentucky. He entered the Army as an infantryman in August 1991. He had multiple assignments in the Army and was assigned to the Army Special Operations Command in May 2004.

SFC Cornett is survived by his wife and his three children Brandy, Christopher, and Brianna.
